Story
MEET RUFAS a handsome Irish Setter Single & Ready to Mingle "Looking for a committed partner who understands that I have a past, but I'm ready for a beautiful future." Current Gig: Retired Puppy Mill Daddy 🍼 (I've officially hung up my bachelor hat and entered my soft-boy era). Education: Graduate of the Good Boy Academy. I hold a degree in "Sit" and a minor in "Paw." (Currently auditing Leash Walking 101). Vibe: Crimson coat, gorgeous floppy ears, and a heart full of untapped potential. About Me Let’s be real: I spent the first couple of years of my life working a job I didn't love, just trying to provide for the next generation. But I’ve officially retired from “their” family business, and now I’m just looking for someone to spoil me for a change. I have no idea of how wonderful a house can be! Because of my background, everything in the "real world" is a little new and exciting. Ceiling fans? Fascinating. TV? A trip. Your couch? Absolutely elite. I'm a gorgeous Irish Setter with supermodel hair, but I'm incredibly humble. I'm looking for a human who will be patient with me as I learn how to just be a pampered pet. My Perfect Match You are: Patient, kind, and generous with the high-value treats. Our ideal first date: Sharing a pup cup in the car, followed by a long, cozy nap on a fluffy dog bed while you watch Netflix. Dealbreaker: If you don't like giving ear scratches, swipe left. Story
Meet Xena — and yes, she’s a true warrior princess. This six-year-old Irish Setter has battled the evils of puppy mill life, bravely endured years as a brood mare, and is finally ready to be treated like the royalty she is. She’s still finding her footing and learning that the world can be a safe, loving place — but her cavity-inducingly sweet, spunky, goofball personality is already shining through, and it’s impossible not to fall for her. Xena is great with kids, other dogs, and cats, and she has a very simple philosophy: if you’ll pet her and tell her she’s a good girl, you’re her people. Xena is also whip-smart, and it shows. She’s already crate trained and breezing through potty training — proof that when you give this girl attention and consistency, she delivers. She thrives outdoors and loves having space to explore, so a home with an active lifestyle would be a dream come true for her. Because she’s so bonded to the people she loves, Xena does best in a home where she won’t be left alone for long stretches. She needs a family who can give her the time, presence, and mental stimulation she deserves — and in return, she will give you her whole heart. Pa Kennel License #07735

Story
Please contact Darlene at 302-312-5129 (fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Meet Chowder! Chowder is a handsome 5-month-old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix looking for a second chance at his forever home. Through no fault of his own, he was recently surrendered after his dad's work schedule changed and he could no longer give Chowder the time and attention he deserves. This sweet boy is incredibly smart, eager to learn, and already has a great start on his basic training. He loves people, enjoys being with his family, and is at the perfect age to continue learning and growing into an amazing lifelong companion. Chowder is looking for a family that understands the commitment of raising a large-breed puppy and is ready to provide him with plenty of love, exercise, training, and adventures. In return, you'll gain a loyal best friend who will love you unconditionally. If you think Chowder might be the perfect addition to your family, we'd love to hear from you! ❤️ Fur-Ever Paws Dog Rescue Please complete an adoption application at www.fur-everpaws.com Please share to help Chowder find the loving forever home he deserves!July 1, 2026, 4:32 pm
