Hi! I'm one of more than 40 Pointers and Spaniels that Big Dog Ranch Rescue rescued from Georgia after we didn't make the cut as hunting dogs. Thankfully, those days are behind me, and I'm now safe, cared for, and looking for my forever family. I'm still learning the right and wrongs of being a pet, so I may need a little patience as I discover things like walking on a leash, living in a home, and trusting people. Every day I'm gaining confidence, and with love and understanding, I'll grow into a wonderful, loyal companion. I can't wait to start my new life with you!

Hi! My name is Lia! I was rescued in Puerto Rico before arriving at the Big Dog Ranch Rescue. I'm a young puppy with lots of energy and spunk! I love to run around and play! I'm friendly and happy and just want to get to know you. Aside from having tons of energy, sometimes I can be loud, as I don't know how to control my barking yet. You have to remember, I'm a lot like a baby and have not necessarily adapted to a schedule yet so you may find that I'm staying up in my crate at night, and sleeping during the day. I need lots of direction and training, and that doesn't just mean puppy pre-school classes. I need you to show me the right and wrong things to do. Please don't be mad if in the process I wind up chewing some of your belongings or if I have accidents in the house - I promise I will get the hang of things! I require LOTS of time, energy, and patience, but my sweet little face makes it all worth it! This is a learning curve for us both but I promise that if you put the time and energy into helping me grow big and strong, you'll wind up with a wonderful little best friend for life.
