Hi, I’m Brooklyn I’ve had a bit of a rough start in life, but I’m doing so much better now. Thanks to my foster family, I’ve gained weight, learned what it feels like to be safe, and discovered that life can be pretty wonderful.I’m a sweet, quiet, and calm girl who loves peaceful moments and gentle company. I live happily with other dogs and get along well with them, making me a great addition to a home with furry friends already in it. I had a short stay with a foster sitter where we found out that I not a great match with cats.I may not be the loudest or flashiest pup in the room, but I have a soft heart and a lot of love to give. I’m ready for a forever home where I can continue to grow, feel secure, and be loved for the good girl I am.If you’re looking for a gentle soul to share your life with, I just might be your Brooklyn!I also qualify for the Welcome Trial program, which means you can take me home for up to 14 days to make sure I’m the perfect fit before making things official.

Angel is a 5.5-year-old, 72-lb Golden Retriever who lives up to her name in the sweetest way. This girl loves attention and would be perfectly content if her day consisted entirely of being pet, adored, and told what a good dog she is. She’s doing well with house-training and is easygoing about where she sleeps - whether it’s the floor or a cozy dog bed. That said, Angel has recently discovered the magic of the couch, and let’s just say… she’s a big fan. Expect some serious snuggle sessions. Angel does well with other dogs, making her a great candidate for a multi-dog home. Her experience with cats is unknown. With new people, she can be a bit shy at first and may bark when visitors arrive, but with patience and reassurance, she warms up and shows her gentle, affectionate nature. She walks nicely on a leash, though she hasn’t quite figured out how to potty while on one yet. Because of this, a fenced-in yard would be ideal unless her future family is ready to fully commit to helping her learn and build confidence with leash pottying. Angel would thrive in a home that offers love, patience, and lots of affection...and maybe a spot on the couch. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet Golden who just wants to be close to her people, Angel is ready to give her heart to you. Mango is a stunning 1-year-old, 62-lb Golden Retriever with a heart of gold and a sensitive, gentle spirit. The world can feel a little big for him sometimes, and when he’s happy, excited, or shy, he adorably carries a “security toy” in his mouth to help him feel safe. Mango needs a home who will let him warm up at his own pace. With patience, he will be your shadow and best friend, but he is initially very shy with new people. Mango is a medium-energy, goofy gentleman who loves backyard romps and long “sniffari” walks. Loud noises can still make him nervous, but he’s gaining confidence every day and is looking for a patient, kind leader to show him the world isn’t so scary. He does best in a home where his people are around often, as he’s not a fan of being alone or crated. Mango’s highlights: - Dog-friendly (he needs a confident dog friend) - Nearly potty trained - Non-reactive on leash - Pro cuddler & champion toy-carrier REQUIREMENTS: - A fenced yard - A patient adopter who is home more often than not - Another confident dog to learn from - No children (teenagers are fine).
