Others, like Moshka, need a little time before they let you see just how wonderful they are.Moshka is an 11-month-old, 50-pound Irish Setter/Labrador Retriever mix who came to us as a stray alongside another dog named Mozart. While they arrived together, they do not need to be adopted together.Because Moshka came in as a stray, we don't know what she's experienced in her young life. What we do know is that she's a shy girl who is still learning that people can be kind.🍖 Food is the fastest way to her heart! Moshka is cautious around people and can be very nervous about being touched, but she's already shown us that treats help build her confidence and trust. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, we believe she'll continue to blossom.It's important for potential adopters to know that Moshka can be snatchy with food, so she'll need a family that understands how to safely manage feeding time while continuing to build her confidence through positive training.Moshka isn't looking for perfection—she's looking for someone willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe. Watching a shy dog learn to trust is one of the most rewarding experiences, and we think Moshka has so much potential waiting to shine.✨ Moshka is scheduled to be spayed on Thursday, July 23, and will be available for adoption beginning Friday, July 24. True to his heritage, Copper is friendly, outgoing, and full of energy. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those close to his size, and would thrive with an active family. He is somewhat anxious and becomes distressed with too much activity in the home.
