Story
We received a call from a local shelter asking if we had room for three puppies. They were the result of an accidental litter and the owner stated their dog became pregnant during a trip to the dog park. The puppies were surrendered to the shelter just before closing on Friday evening. Luckily (pun intended), one of our puppy fosters had an opening and agreed to take two of them, and another foster stepped up to take the third. We picked them up first thing Saturday morning. Please help us welcome the St. Patty’s Day Crew, Lucky, Clover, and Pattie, to Rescue Row! They are almost 15 weeks old and currently weigh between 25–30 lbs. According to Wisdom Panel they are a mix of 4 different breeds, 54% Poodle, 34% Golden Retriever, 10% Irish Setter and 2% Lab. Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
