Story
Meet Newt: A Unique Companion Background Newt is an 8-month-old, 8-pound mix of Italian Greyhound and Terrier. Rescued from a hoarding case, he has been given a new lease on life and is now looking for a loving home. Despite his challenging start, Neville's resilient spirit shines through. Health and Care Neville is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His health is well-maintained, ensuring he is ready for adoption. Personality and Traits Newt is a smart but shy pup. He is the brother to Neville and Xeno, and like them, he requires a bit of patience and understanding. Once trust is established, Newt becomes affectionate and is eager to learn new things. His intelligence is a testament to his Italian Greyhound and Terrier heritage, making him a quick learner and adaptable companion. Special Considerations Given his breed's characteristics, Newt has extremely fine bones, which means he should not be housed with young children who may inadvertently play too roughly. He thrives in environments where he can feel safe and secure. Energy Level and Activity With a medium energy level, Newt enjoys a balance of playtime and relaxation. While he may be shy initially, with patience and gentle encouragement, he reveals a playful and loving side. Ideal Home He would do best in a home without small children, where his shy nature can be nurtured with patience. His new family should be prepared to invest time in building trust and providing a stable, loving environment. Once settled, He's affectionate and playful nature will surely bring joy to his forever home. In summary, He is a unique and endearing pup who, with a bit of patience and understanding, will become a cherished member of any family. If you are looking for a smart, affectionate companion and are willing to invest the time to build a trusting relationship, he might just be the perfect match for you.

Story
Meet Ula: A Resilient Companion Looking for Her Forever Home Ula is a charming Italian Greyhound and small terrier mix who has spent her life overcoming adversity and is now ready for a loving home. At 8 years old and weighing just 9 pounds, Ula is a petite, yet resilient, dog with a lot of love to give. Health and Wellness Ula is fully vetted, up-to-date on all her vaccines, heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped. Due to an underbite, she received full dental surgery, ensuring she is healthy and comfortable. History and Background Ula's journey is a testament to her resilience. She was rescued from a horrific hoarding situation, where she was one of 40 dogs living in dire conditions. Her intake paperwork said she was 3 years old, she had never been handled by humans, and remarkably, no one even knew she was female until her rescue. Imagine our surprise to find this delightful senior little girl under all that silly paperwork. Personality and Temperament While Ula is very dog-friendly, she prefers a calm environment where other dogs don't jump on her. She is cautious around small children as they can be overwhelming for her. Ula is a people-oriented dog who enjoys human company but takes a little time to warm up to new friends and would do fabulous in a home with fewer dogs...or even zero dogs as she would really love all the attention and not having to share! Intelligence and Training Ula is incredibly smart and picks up new routines with ease. She is housebroken, crate trained, and making progress on her leash training. Her new family will need to be patient as she continues to learn and grow, but she has the potential to be an affectionate companion. Adoption Details As a senior dog, part of Ula's adoption fees are sponsored, reducing the total from $625 to $425. She has many years left to offer loyalty and affection to the right person who will invest time in her. Ula truly deserves a good life, and she is eager to share her journey with a compassionate and understanding family. Consider opening your heart to Ula, and you'll gain a devoted friend who will enrich your life with her unwavering spirit and love.
