Story
Meet Diamond-- a sweetie pie! She’s an energetic senior German Short-haired Pointer Mix. Although she has lots of energy, she’s also the biggest cuddle bug. Moreover, she loves to talk; thus, she barks quite a bit. As an affectionate companion, she should be the only fur-baby of her paw-rent (s). Given her lively nature, Diamond is quite strong and pulls on the leash so a sizable backyard to run around and go potty is needed. Overall, her ideal home is with adults and children (13 years old and up) who love snuggling on the couch and occasionally being outside. Diamond is crate- and house-trained and knows basic commands (i.e. sit, lay, “crate up”). She is up to date on all of her shots, and she doesn’t have any special needs or known medical conditions. We’re moving and unfortunately can’t take her with us. When adopted, Diamond will come with a crate– fit for a large dog, water and food bowls, vet records, 3 months of heartworm medicine, and a 20lb bag of dog food.

Story
Violet-Spayed Female-7-9 years old, German Short Haired Pointer(Dad) Mix (unsure of mom’s breeds)**COURTESY LISTING Violet is in the Richmond, VA area. If you are interested in Violet, please contact Hallie at halliepage94@gmail.com. From her owner: Healthy at 45-55 pounds-Vetting not UTD, no special needs-Due to unexpected financial and time constraints after being left with multiple animals out of a divorce, I am unable to provide her the care and attention she deserves. This incredibly difficult decision is being made out of love, to ensure she can have the space, stability, and time she needs in a better-suited home ASAP. Pros/Cons: Pulls a little on a leash, great recall, house trained, not crate trained, gets along great with all dogs , tolerates cats. Violet does great with kids, likes to jump but is easily corrected with “No, Down.” Extremely sweet, loves butt scratches. Ideal home: Violet needs exercise and mental stimulation. She is great with other dogs and would thrive in a two-dog situation. She tolerates cats but will nip at them occasionally (she tries to play with them like they are dogs). She is very loyal and has a great temperament. Violet is in the Richmond, VA area. If you are interested in Violet, please contact Hallie at halliepage94@gmail.com.**COURTESY LISTING**
