Hi, I’m Oakland, but most people call me Hodor. I didn’t pick the nickname, but honestly it fits… I’m big, lovable, and sometimes I forget just how big I actually am.
I’m a 4-year-old, 67lb Sheepadoodle with a heart as soft as my coat and a personality that fills a whole room. My previous family loved me, but I’m a bit of a certified clumsy goofball, and my enthusiastic way of showing love was a little too much for the tiny grandkids. I didn’t mean to be overwhelming — I just believe every greeting should be a full body celebration.
I would really thrive in a home with older kids or adults who appreciate a gentle giant with zero concept of personal space and a lot of love to give. I’m playful, sweet, and absolutely convinced I am a lap dog… physics may disagree, but I do not.
I’m also good with other dogs and really enjoy having canine friends around. Whether it’s hanging out together, playing, or just doing our own thing nearby, I’m happy to have some company.
I used to spend a lot of time outside with the chickens, and between you and me, I’ve decided I’m ready for more than that. I’m ready for couch time, belly rubs, real family life, and someone who thinks my goofy nature is exactly the point of me.
CAMO said yes to me because they believe I deserve my perfect forever home, and I’m hoping that’s true. I still have a little polishing to do. I’m learning my manners, working on my coordination, and trying very hard not to knock over everything I get excited about.
But I promise this: if you choose me, I will love you with everything I’ve got, even if I express it like a wobbly, oversized teddy bear who just found out what happiness feels like.

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
