Say hello to Lumi! This 2.5-year-old Staffy mix was recently surrendered back to us and now finds herself looking for a new forever home. Lumi is a bundle of joy, full of bounce and goofiness that’s guaranteed to make you smile. Lumi loves people and greets everyone like a new best friend. She’s also shown she can get along well with other dogs and may be a great match for a canine sibling, given the right fit. Lumi has tested positive for heartworm, but don’t worry—we’ve already started her treatment and will continue to cover the cost even after adoption. Lumi is close to be finished with treatment though! She deserves the chance to live a happy, healthy life in a loving home. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion ready for a fresh start, Lumi just might be the one for you.

This sweet girl is all about affection—she’s friendly with everyone she meets and truly believes she’s a lap dog, no matter her size. Darla is currently polishing up her manners and can get a little jumpy when she’s excited, so we recommend sturdy kids who won’t mind her enthusiastic greetings. With a bit of consistency and guidance, she’ll continue blossoming into the well-mannered companion she’s meant to be. Her previous shelter shared that Darla did well with a male dog, though she hasn’t been tested with females yet. If you’re searching for a lovable, happy, attention-loving pup who wants nothing more than to be your snuggle buddy, Darla is ready—and eager—to meet you!

He listens well, knows a few tricks, and loves nothing more than a good game of fetch with his favorite ball. Jax walks nicely on leash, keeps his kennel clean, and has a fun, spunky side that will keep you smiling. He also gets along great with other dogs, but will require a home with no cats. He’s already been tested negative for heartworms and Lyme disease, and he’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go home. Jax has been waiting since March 2024 for his forever family—could it be you?
