Story
Bernie (~7, adopted from SF SPCA at 6 mos) is a loyal, affectionate, people-focused dog who struggles with other dogs (best as only pet). With two small kids, his size/strength and startle response make our home a poor fit—he’s never shown aggression toward them, but can lunge/bark at the door when startled. He thrives with structure: crate-trained, loves hikes/runs/walks, and has been reliable off-leash in low-distraction areas. We’ve worked with 4–5 trainers (incl. 4-week board-and-train); he improves with consistent, force-free management. Ideal home: adults-only, no other dogs, fenced yard or acreage, quiet routine, experienced handler willing to continue training. No dog parks/daycare; use crate/gates for visitors and decompression. We’ll provide vet records and training notes. Seeking a calm, structured meet-and-greet and a 7–14-day foster-to-adopt with a return-to-us clause to ensure the right match. Willing to wait for the right home for him.

 Ziggy is an older distiguished gentledog. He loves to be a couch potato. He does love going for a walk. He is always happy to see people and give them his paw. He follows commands and is crate trained. His nickname is "Tiger" because of his coat. He is very loving to people and selective to other dogs. Proper introduction is always a must. He wouldn't be ideal with a house that has small children. He is always eager to please. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He would love to travel anywhere in the US or Canada. ##1545628##

Winky  is a very active dog and loves to play. Winky's favorite toy is a tennis ball and she will toss it up in the air to play catch. She has excellent leash manners and enjoys long walks and hikes. Winky enjoys running in the yard with her dog companions. She is also a cuddle bug and loves to curl up next to her human companion under her favorite tree after a long walk. Winky would be an excellent dog for a young active family. She is crate trained and leash trained. Winky is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Winky is located in Harper, Texas but can be transported to any location in the US or Canada. ##1499358##
