Story
Silas is a typical Siamese! Very talkative and loves being with his people! He doesn’t seem to care for other cats, and is better as an only cat, but he enjoys being petted, playing with his chicky toy on a string, and watching birds through the window! He would do best with an experienced owner who is familiar with the breed. He is 3 years old and is a full bred Seal Point with pedigree papers. Email AnimalRescueCarolina@yahoo.com with questions.  Apply to adopt:  https://form.jotform.com/241715082920149 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2026, 8:10 pm

Story
Hello… Frank Sinatra here I’m not much for the spotlight these days, but I’m hoping someone out there might still hear my song.I’m a 4-year-old, 12-pound blue-eyed gentleman with a signature look — a little cross-eyed, a lot charming. Some might say I’ve got that classic, old-school appeal… I just need the right audience to appreciate it.Truth is, the shelter isn’t really my kind of venue. It’s loud, busy, and overwhelming — and I’m more of a quiet lounge singer than a stadium performer. I try to keep to myself, hoping things will settle down, but it’s been hard to find my rhythm here.I had a home once, and I truly thought it was the one. But sharing the stage with other cats just wasn’t my style, and I couldn’t quite find my groove… so I found myself back here again. It’s left me wondering if I’ll ever land the right gig. What I’m looking for now is simple — a calm, peaceful home where I can finally relax. No other cats, please. Maybe no dogs either, or at least a very quiet setup. I just need a little time, a little patience… and someone willing to let me open up at my own pace.Every now and then, I’ll still play — bring out a wand toy, especially one with a feather, and I might show you a little spark of that old swing. But what I really want is something deeper… a place where I feel safe, where I belong.I may be a quiet & kind of chirpy guy right now… but if you give me a chance, I promise — in my own soft, steady way — I’ll make you swoon. My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 10 business days after my procedure is completed. If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re welcome to walk in anytime between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that we’re closed for adoptions on Sundays and Mondays.

Story
Hi there, I’m Zinfandel, and I am bonded with Rose! We are both Priority Pets!I’m a quiet gal with a gentle heart—and I don’t really meow (why waste energy when purring says it all?). I might start off a little shy, but once I feel safe, I’m all about cozy snuggles and quiet companionship.I love to play with toys, especially when things are calm and peaceful. And once I’ve had some fun, I’ll curl up next to you, start my purr motor, and stay close.I may not demand attention, but I give it freely—and I’ll be the kind of friend who’s always just right there beside you. Also, not to brag, but I am quite stunning. If you’re looking for a sweet pair of siamese mixed girls to share your space and your heart, we`d love to meet you.I’ve tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FELV), but don’t let that scare you! FELV-positive cats like me can still live joyful, snuggly lives. I just need to stay indoors and live with Rose or other FELV-positive friends. With good care and lots of love, I can thrive and be your devoted companion for many wonderful years.Pawmetto Lifeline is offering FREE basic medical care for LIFE for Rose and Zinfandel-all included services listed below!Annual exam for life at Pawmetto LifelineCore Vaccines for life at Pawmetto LifelineCost of medications plus 10% (*doesn`t include HW/Flea prevention) from Pawmetto LifelineZinfandel is FELV+ Kittens who test positive for Feline Leukemia (FELV) can still live joyful, loving lives—especially as indoor-only companions. While FELV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs, it can be passed to other cats, which is why these special kitties thrive best either as the only cat in the home or with other FELV-positive feline friends. With consistent veterinary care, a safe indoor environment, and proper nutrition, FELV-positive cats can enjoy many years of comfort, companionship, and happiness. They may have a different path, but it can still be filled with love, play, and purpose. My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention.
