Binx is a loving and very cuddly cat. He is anxious at first but over the years has learned to play and be very vocal. Unfortunately his previous home had other cats that were not nice to him causing him to urinate outside of the litter box. He currently share his home with two other cats and they get along great! The vet says his urination is behavioral and he needs more care than I can offer him at this time but there are options to deter this habit. I love him very much and I don’t want him to suffer because I am unable to give him the quality of care he deserves. Binx is goofy and super quirky( he makes the funniest faces like he knows what you are saying). Never a dull moment when he’s around!

Dolly Purrton is a beautiful lynx point Siamese kitten who is looking for a loving forever home! This girl is a total purr machine and loves to make biscuits while her motor is running on high.  Dolly was found in a colony of community cats in east Dallas and was spayed as part of a TNR effort. Her finders quickly realized she was too friendly to go back outside and connected with RHS to get her into the rescue. She is a curious and super sweet little girl who loves attention and having a kitty friend around. Dolly will be happiest in a home with another cat to help show her the ropes, and we think she'd adapt quickly to a cat friendly dog as well.   Our Adoption Process: Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo an in person or virtual home visit from an RHS representative. Complete Application.  https://www.richardsonhumanesociety.org/adopt/ Phone Interview/Vet Check. Compatible applicants will be forwarded to a counselor who will contact the applicant for a phone interview. We also get a reference from your vet, if applicable. Home Visit. If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will set up a visit where you can meet the pet you are interested in. We will try to include the foster parent so you can learn more about how the pet is in a home environment. Due to COVID, we may ask you to send a video of your yard and the pet's expected living space. Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at your home or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs, $300 for puppies (under 1 year) and $135 for cats.
