FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Calliope! Calliope is a 4.5-year-old, 60 lb Pointer/Lab mix who is ready to find an active home where she can settle in, decompress, and enjoy life with her new family. This sweet, outgoing girl has an adventurous spirit and would make a wonderful companion for someone who loves spending time outdoors. Calliope is an active, athletic girl who enjoys getting out and exploring. She would love a home with a large, securely fenced yard where she can stretch her legs, roam, and play, or an active family that will include her in plenty of walks, hikes, and adventures. With her enthusiasm for the outdoors, she has all the makings of an amazing hiking buddy! She is smart, treat motivated, and eager to engage with her people. Calliope would benefit from adopters who are excited to continue working with her on basic obedience and leash manners while providing the structure, exercise, and mental enrichment she needs to thrive. Calliope prefers slower, thoughtful introductions when meeting other dogs and will do best with people who can help her feel comfortable and allow her to build confidence at her own pace. After spending time in a shelter environment, she is looking forward to a home where she can relax, settle into a routine, and show her family just how wonderful she is. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, adventurous companion who will happily join you on the trails and share in all of life’s adventures, Calliope may be the perfect match for you! Calliope is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Tank! Tank is a 9-month-old, 50-60 lb Labrador Retriever/Wirehaired Pointing Griffon mix who still has a little more growing to do. He is a goofy, bouncy, happy pup who loves people, loves other dogs, and is always ready to play! Tank can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and loves leaning into his person. He’s also eager to please and walks well on leash. He’s still building his confidence around city noises and new environments, so continued socialization will be important as he grows. Tank would love a home with another confident, friendly dog who can help him adjust, show him the ropes, and give him a good canine role model. He’ll also need a family who is prepared for a big, strong, bumbling puppy and is willing to continue working with him on training, socialization, and basic manners. With his sweet personality and eagerness to please, Tank has so much potential to grow into an amazing companion. He’s looking for a family who will give him the guidance, confidence-building, and a life full of adventures! Tank is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $550.
