ADOPTION PROCESS:
ADOPTIONS MUST BE MADE IN PERSON at Fort Worth Chuck Silcox Animal Care and Control OR the specified PetSmart location. Adopters will be asked to complete an adoption application and provide valid ID showing that they are at least 18 years old.
The adoption fee is $49.00 for dogs and $25.00 for cats. The fee includes vaccinations, a city license, spay/neuter, a microchip and a heartworm test. The shelter will not release the adopted pet until after it has provided these services. Exceptions may be granted due to age, health or injury.
