Rescue FAQs

Almost Home Dog Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, foster-based, all volunteer rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilating dogs at risk and in danger of an untimely death. We bring dogs to us from rural areas where there is a large stray population, spays are infrequently done and pounds and shelters are high kill when they fill up. Adoption rates are high in our area.
Central Maryland...Howard county, Anne Arundel county, Prince Georges county, Montgomery county, Carroll county, Frederick county, Baltimore City, Baltimore county, Washington DC and northern Virginia

Additional adoption info

Specifics will be in every posting. Applications are required prior to arranging appointments. Upon adoption, contract is required, additional contract for puppies under 6 months not yet spayed (with deposit-proof of spay and neuter is tracked) and fee is $450 for over 6 months (already altered) or $475 for puppies.
