Troutman Canine Rescue, Inc.

The journey to start TCR was a long road, with many events in my life that led me to realize that the only way I could truly save the lives of precious, innocent dogs, was to start a 501(c)3 rescue so that I could get dogs out of the high-kill shelters of NC. TCR also takes in dogs that have been rescued from the horrific dog meat trade in Thailand, with the help of the amazing rescue group, SoiDog. TCR believes that dogs are unequivocally "man's best friend." They are incredibly loving, loyal, forgiving, and have hearts that humans can only strive to have. All over the world, dogs suffer tragically at the hands of humans; it is TCR's purpose to help as many of these wonderful creatures as possible, to find loving, responsible families that will cherish and spoil them for all the days of their lives.
