Rescue FAQs

Ironstone Lane Rescue and Stables purpose: *To rescue animals from situations that are abusive, endangering and neglectful, which includes, but not limited too, kill shelters, puppy mills and backyard breeders; *To inform the public of these situations in order to put a stop to animal abuse and irresponsible breeding; *To provide foster homes for these animals; *To provide necessary veterinary care; *To promote the importance of spaying/neutering; *To place rescued animals into permanent adoptive loving homes; *Building and maintaining a shelter for rescued animals. We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization. WAYS YOU CAN HELP: *Foster Homes and Volunteers needed!! *Transportation of pets pulled from shelters to our rescue or vet! DESPARATE NEED FOR ITEMS: • Blankets, sheets, towels, beds • Dog Bowls • Food Storage • Gift cards for Walmart or Petco where most supplies are purchased. Additional adoption info

You must be 25 to adopt. Approved application is required as well as contract. Applications can be found on our website at www.ironstonelanerescue.com

WILLINGNESS AND ABILITY to provide for the dog or cat for the next 10-20 years.

We also reserve the right to perform a home visit before any adoption and to decline any applicant if we do not feel them suitable to care for the animal applied for.

The adoption fee are as follows:

Puppies (up to 1 year): $300 to $400+
Dogs over 1-2: $175 to $250
Dogs over 2: $150 to $225

Our fees cover:
* HW testing/preventative monthly until adopted
* Flea/tic preventative monthly until adopted
* Deworming
* Spay/Neuter
* Vaccinations up until adoption
* Microchipping
