Interview
If the board approves your application you may receive a call for a phone interview.
Home Check
If application receives initial approval, we will schedule a mandatory home visit. Please note, if you rent we do check with the landlord.
Meet the Pet
We will schedule a meet and greet with the potential adopters and dog(s). It is required all members of the adoptive family must be present.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
Existing pets, required all the pets are properly introduced by GLAR. We will not adopt a dog into a home that has reached it's city mandate
Sign Adoption Contract
If app, home check, and meet and greet are approved we move forward with signing the contract.
Pay Fee
The adoption fee can be paid by PayPal, cash, or check but must be paid at the time of signing the contract. The adoption fee is non-refund
