Rescue FAQs

We're working to improve the lives of homeless animals in Arkansas' tri-county area of Sharp, Fulton and Izard Counties by funding spay/neuter and medical support that helps them become adoptable. Our ultimate goal is to reduce the population of homeless animals by emphasizing the importance of spay/neuter and humane treatment of pets.

Additional adoption info

Potential adopters should contact us via our email @ friendsofcherokeeanimals@gmail.com and we will contact them via phone filling out the adoption application. From there a meet and greet will be scheduled at the home of the potential adopter. If everything works out for the best of the animal and adopter the adoption contract is signed, money is paid, and life together for both the animal and adopter will begin!
