As animal lovers, we have dreamt of creating a non-for-profit rescue 501(c)(3) organization in which we could place cats into forever homes with the utmost loving families. Our mission is simple: rescue, shelter, and re-home cats in need.
Our goal is to provide a cage-free and no-kill shelter environment for the kittens and cats waiting to be placed. Our area of focus is in McHenry County, Illinois.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationFill out our adoption application: https://bit.ly/2Z0MEvO.
(We do ask for a personal and vet reference.) - Meet the PetIf you have a pet in mind to adopt, come and meet them! Or come meet everyone to find the pet(s) best matched for your family or home.
- Approve ApplicationThe shelter will review your application and call your personal and vet references. (Our review generally happens within 2 days.)
- Sign Adoption ContractOnce approved, you’ll come to the shelter to sign your adoption contract.
- Pay FeeAfter signing your contract, you'll pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee covers spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, and other medical care.
- Take the Pet HomeTake your new friend(s) home! We will provide instructions for transitioning your new pet into your home (especially with existing pets).

Please bring a carrier with you — one for each adopted pet to transport home.
We will follow up after the adoption to make sure everything is going well. If you have any questions or issues after adoption, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.
