You will be emailed an application to fill out. If you do not have computer access readily available, say you are looking at this on a friend's computer or at the library, please state that if you leave a voice mail. You will get priority on the call back list. You must be a homeowner, or renter (with ONE YEAR minimum signed lease) with proof of permission to have a pet. You MUST have a fenced yard, very few exceptions. All current pets should be spayed/neutered and current on vaccinations. You will provide a veterinary reference. No pets will be adopted for any use other than companion animals. An adoption contract will be signed at time of adoption. All pets remain under jurisdiction of S.C.P.R., and can be re-claimed at any time that you are found to be in breech of contract. Read the contract thoroughly and know what you are signing. We wish to make a good match the first time, so please understand that these policies are in place to protect the dear animals we are dealing with. A pet is a lifetime commitment, please choose wisely and make your decision based on this fact. All adoption fees are non-refundable.
