ABOUT US English Bulldog Rescue of Ontario (EBRO) is a small group of volunteers dedicated to helping English Bulldogs in need. Our mission is to rescue English Bulldogs from unfortunate situations and provide them with the necessary medical and rehabilitation care that they require, while in loving temporary foster care. During this process, we work to find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes and work towards preventing the need for rescue in the future. We focus on helping and give priority to senior bulldogs and those with special needs. We are a foster-based rescue which means we have no shelter or facility. Any dogs we take into care are placed with our pre-approved foster families while we search for their forever homes. As a foster-based rescue, there is never a guarantee that we will have space available, and our priority remains with animals who are in need of the most urgent help. ABOUT OUR BULLDOGS Our English Bulldogs are rescued from a variety of circumstances. We take in strays, transfers from high-kill shelters, surrenders from families who are no longer able to provide care for their bulldogs, and other various situations such as puppy mills and hoarding situations.
