Rescue FAQs

KLAWS is a foster-based kitten and cat rescue committed to making a difference in the lives of abandoned, feral and stray cats. We aim to control the population of at large cats in our home community by providing trap/neuter/spay/return or re-home services. Further, we strive to educate the public on the importance of vaccinations and spay/neuter while also promoting the "adopt, don't shop" philosophy. At KLAWS we adhere to strict indoor only and no declaw policies. We firmly believe that animals are our companions and deserve to be treated with dignity, respect and love.
Although based out of the City of Kawartha Lakes, we have foster homes in various locations and our kitties have found their forever homes throughout the province of Ontario.
