Rescue FAQs

We are a 501c3 all volunteer rescue based in TN. We rescue pets from many different situations. We fully vet them and find them wonderful forever homes. In the south, there is a massive overpopulation problem that leads to mass euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals. Wonderful adopters are the only things preventing more animals from ending up in trash bags in landfills. Thank you for considering saving lives.
Funny Farm Rescue Ranch is a non-profit, 501c3, all volunteer agency chartered by the State of TN. We take in pets that are unwanted, abandoned, abused, neglected, homeless or otherwise in need. We are not a shelter and do not have a shelter in any other northern state. Each of our pets is at a home with a volunteer foster parent and only leaves the foster home in TN to go to their "forever" home once they are fully vetted. Our goal is to reduce the pet overpopulation problem through spay/neuter, adoption and education. We have been rescuing pets for over 17 years.
