Rescue FAQs
No Dogs Left Behind is a leader in global animal rescue.
We fight on the front lines saving dogs from slaughterhouses, dog meat trucks, wet markets and exposing illegal dealers and breeders. Through international alliances and local resources, we engage in every step of rescue.
Once rescued our survivors are evaluated, vaccinated, medically treated, sterilized, named and housed at one of our 2 locations in China. Not only do we restore the health and medical well-being of the of the dogs, we also work to restore the emotional spirit as well through social interaction, leash training and park times.
With no government funding of any kind No Dogs Left Behind operates solely on donations from dedicated followers and fellow activists.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationApply to Adopt a Survivor. Once we receive the application. See step two below.
- InterviewInterview and virtual home check by NDLB adoption coordinator.
- Sign Adoption ContractOnce approved. NDLB Adoption Coordinator will send an adoption contract.
- Pay FeeA payment link will be sent to you, you will also receive a receipt of payment for your records.
Additional adoption info
Once the adoption agreement and fee have been paid, we will schedule your survivors freedom flight to the the USA (if adopting from the US)
