Rescue FAQs
Wagging Tales Rescue is a public non-profit corporation established in 2019. Our goal is to provide a refuge for abandoned, abused, special needs, and homeless dogs. The focus is to help local animals and save dogs from high kill shelters in the region. We want to give the dogs as much time as they need to find their forever homes. While they wait they are in a safe place where they can enjoy their life.
We serve mainly in Central Ohio. We do rescue dogs from all around Ohio too.

The best way to find out if the dog is available for adoption is to look at our available dogs page, email us, or look on our social media. Our adoption process is easy. First, you look at our available dogs on our available dogs link. Then, you fill out an adoption application. This will help us determine if you are the right fit for the dog you are interested in, or we can suggest a dog depending on your lifestyle. We will meet for a meet and greet between you and the dog(s). If you have any other dogs we would like to do a meet and greet between the dogs before you can adopt. If all works out then you just sign some papers and get to adopt your new family member.
