Northern California, California, Bay Area California, San Mateo County, Santa Cruz County, Monterey, Carmel, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Sacramento, Yuba City, Marysville, Chico, Grass Valley, Nevada City and Surrounding Cities and States. Many of our dogs get homes in other States. Pup parents must make arrangements that are safe and comfortable for our pets and must be approved prior to adoption.
Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationYou May submit an application in advance, for a future pet. Or request an application for a pet you have seen listed as available.
- InterviewA phone interview is required
- Home CheckA home check may or may not be physically conducted based on geography, however further Q&A and photos may be necessary prior to approval
- Approve Application
- Meet the PetIf possible to meet pet in person we prefer it. Otherwise you may get to know the pup / dogs temperament via videos
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Pay FeeDonations / rehoming fees are asked to cover costs incurred for rescued animals.
