Rescue FAQs

Miracles for Satos Rescue We are an all volunteer, no-kill, not-for-profit, 501c3 rescue group. We rescue the satos (street dogs) of Puerto Rico from the streets, kill shelters and bad situations. Satos are unfortunately in abundance and these amazing sweet spirits need our help to find permanent loving homes! We are the voice and for those who can not help themselves! All donations are fully tax deductible! Our rescuers and volunteers are unpaid so that any monies can be dedicated solely to the dogs! Medical, food, supplies, spay/neuter, and maintenance of our farm/sanctuary facility in Puerto Rico, transportation costs, and training are among the many expenses we have. We try to never say "no" to any dog in need! We and our satos are grateful to our donors and our fosters and adopters!
We focus on the New York tri-state area; however, we welcome out of state adoptions as long as the adopter is willing to come to the NYC area to pick up their dog.
