Rescue FAQs

Ninja Paws Rescue group was founded on December 31, 2013, by three friends with a common mission. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that exists solely because of tax-deductible donations, and the tireless support of our volunteers.

We are committed to ending animal cruelty and suffering in our community. Through a network of gracious donors, loyal supporters, and tireless volunteers, we provide neglected and suffering animals a second chance through responsible fostering and adoption programs.

Those efforts are furthered by providing education and resources for animal owners in our community. Our ultimate goal is to match our animals with the most appropriate adopters to ensure their future is spent in a secure and loving environment.

We receive our animals in a variety of ways: some are wandering and lost, some have been abandoned, some may have medical needs, etc. We are committed to ensure that every animal we come in contact with receives the medical attention they need and to be in a safe environment while we seek a permanent home for them.

We are proud to have helped make many families complete, with the adoption of a new family member!

Tarrant County mostly but we have adopted out to out-of-county applicants who qualified after application and who had a home-check done by a qualified volunteer.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. First, we require an application to be on file prior to considering a meet-and-greet.
  2. Approve Application
    1. Once the application has been verified, steps will be taken to place the applicant in touch with the pet's foster or boarding facility.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. Meet-and-greet will be arranged and the potential for a home trial will be discussed.
  4. Home Check
    1. Once a home check is completed, a home trial will be arranged where the applicant and pet have an opportunity to get to know one another.
  5. Pay Fee
    1. Once the home trial is deemed a success, simply pay the adoption fee and all related documents will be forwarded.

Additional adoption info

We make all attempts to conduct our process as easy and efficient as possible while executing our due diligence.
