Rescue FAQs

Forgotten Coast Animal Rescue is a volunteer, foster-based animal rescue operating primarily out of Houston, TX. It is the mission of Forgotten Coast Animal Rescue to address, educate, rescue, provide aid and relief to eradicate neglected, abused, and unwanted companion animals at risk of euthanasia and homelessness throughout the United States. We do this through services such as vetting, medical care, supplies, house checks, transportation, boarding, and providing nurturing foster homes where these companion animals can heal (both mentally and physically) until a rescue or permanent home is found through our adoption screening process.
Houston, TX is where we are based and the area we primarily serve. However, many of our dogs are available to transport out of state.
