We rescue dogs off of death row from the Texas kill shelters and help rehome stray dogs from dumping grounds that have clearly been neglected or abused.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationPeople can submit an adoption application
- InterviewFirst we do reference checks, THEN we do a full 1 to 1.5 hr interview with the applicant
- Home CheckHome checks used to be done in person but lately we do a zoom walk through of the home, checking especially the backyard and crate set up
- Meet the PetIf the dog is here in Canada they can do a meet and greet to finalize that they are in fact who they say they are and a good match
- Approve Applicationwe would send an email approving the adopter (or declining if they aren't approved)
- Sign Adoption ContractWe would send the adoption contract which they would fill out and send back.
- Pay FeeThey would transfer the adoption fee to cover transport costs and vetting of the dog. Then they would come pick up the dog from the foster.
Additional adoption info
No other additional information. Some of our dogs are adopted as soon as they come up on a "foster-to-adopt" trial period to ensure the perfect match.
