Rescue FAQs

We are a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation dedicated to helping the community members of Lamar County, Alabama by providing financial aid for its citizens to spay and neuter their pets and reducing the stray and unwanted animal population in our area. Unfortunately we do not have a physical location, so please contact us to report any stray, neglected, or unwanted animals. We must have a plan in place to house them prior to them being brought in or picked up. Our contact information is provided at the bottom of the page. We do not staff a veterinarian and are volunteer ran, so we cannot take severely injured or sick animals, but we do have a list of contacts for these types of reports on our Contacts page.
