Rescue FAQs
We are a foster-based dog rescue in southern Wisconsin, working with a partner shelter in Oklahoma, where dogs don't have as great of a chance at a cozy family life as they do in Wisconsin. We strive for FurEvers the first time, so we focus on matching you with the best dog for your family, lifestyle, and living arrangements.
Fosters are in Madison, Wisconsin (Dane and surrounding counties - but we adopt out to surrounding states, cities, if adopters are willing to travel to come meet and pick up dogs.
Adoption steps
- Submit Applicationapplications for available dogs can be found on our website and submitted under the profile of the dog adopters are interested in.
- Home CheckThis may be done in person, through photos, or videos & video chat.
- InterviewEach adopter will have conversations with our application team and fosters in order to get questions answered and make sure best fit.
