Rescue FAQs

Ridgebacks & Friends is dedicated to saving Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Ridgeback mixes, and placing them in suitable homes. Since 2014 we have fostered and re-homed 150+ dogs. The rescue was founded by Ridgeback owners who adore the breed and even dogs that may only have a little Ridgeback in them (hence the word "friends" in our name). We rescue owner-surrenders, strays and from shelters. Ridgebacks and Friends is a 501(c)(3) charity.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption contracts include a clause that the dog must be returned to us if the adopter can not keep the dog for any reason.
