All God's Creatures (AGC) is a community-oriented non-profit, established for the welfare of animals and people. We are a brand-new animal shelter in Henry County. We believe our shelter and volunteer programming will give hope, purpose, and friendship as we connect paws and people. AGC is dedicated to providing our animals with quality care in a fear free environment.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationWe have a short questionnaire that can be filled out before or during the meet and greet. We do not use the questionnaire to "approve".
- InterviewWe utilize conversational adoption. This may happen during the meet and greet or via phone before a meet and greet.
- Meet the Pet
- Pay FeeOur cat adoption fee is $110, $150 if you adopt a pair, and our dog adoption fee is $150.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Take the Pet HomeYou can bring your own carrier or we can provide a cardboard carrier for an additional $5.
Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.
