Rescue FAQs

Retired to Rescue was formed by passion and love for bulldogs. We focus on English and French Bulldogs being retired from breeding and needing a happily ever after. Our goals are to place dogs no longer wanted into their true forever homes, as well as providing education and advocacy for these breeds we love so much.

Additional adoption info

Once you see the pup of your dreams you fill out an adoption application:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeXPNq9voBZT2E0wYyxf240a7qdVNNoTfdL1dIAx-UpcoLy5A/viewform

Once approved, we will reach out to you to set up an "interview" but really more of a chat. If after our chat we agree to try a meet we schedule a meet and greet at your home. If the meet goes well the one week trial begins.

If after the week trial all parties agree to proceed with adoption, final adoption application is signed, adoption fee is paid and the pups medical records and microchip are transferred.

Even if after the official trial the adoption is not a great fit for any reason we will always accept dogs back under our rescue.
