Rescue FAQs

We are a startup non-profit, established by nurses. The founders of S.P.A.C. saw a need for more petite pet rescues and knew we wanted to help. The best part about our rescue is all of the animals live on site with us. We socialize and interact with our rescue animals everyday. Each pet gets one on one attention, as well as frequent interaction with children. We are devoted to spoiling our beloved rescues - until they find their perfect furever homes. At Small Paws Adoption Cottage, our mission is to provide a loving and compassionate haven for pets in need, fostering their well-being while connecting them with forever homes. We strive to build a community of responsible pet ownership, promoting empathy, education, and joy in the journey of rehoming and adoption.

Additional adoption info

We require that any person adopting a pet has a veterinarian they plan to use. We also require that in the event that the pet does not work out, the pet be returned to our rescue so that we can ensure they are properly taken care of and safely rehomed.
