Shelter FAQs

The Camrose & Area Animal Shelter Society received the keys for our leased space November 1, 2017 after just over a year of fundraising, raising awareness and gaining the support of the City and community. CAASS promptly began to take in stray and homeless cats from Camrose, and a few from surrounding areas. MISSION STATEMENT: To provide clean and safe care for homeless companion animals in partnership with others, and education for the public. OUR GOAL : Responsible homes for happy, healthy pets.

Any animal that is applied for has been fully vetted, and is fixed and microchipped. Our staff know all of our animals and will do their best to help you find "the right one".
