Rescue FAQs

We’re a Beagle rescue in San Diego, CA. Although we mainly rescue Beagles, we also receive other hounds in need such as Basset Hounds and Beagle/Basset Hound mixes. We’ve been Beagle owners for the last 8 years and we decided to start rescuing about 5 years ago simply because we love the breed, we love helping hounds finding loving forever homes. So far we’ve placed about 250+ hounds successfully in adoption.
Mainly anywhere in CA, but we also do out of state adoptions in: OR, WA, NV and AZ. We do have transportation options when the adopters live far away and can’t come to us to pick up their dog.

Additional adoption info

We set up an appointment to meet our available dogs that are ready to be adopted, with potential adopters after their application has been approved. If the dog is a good fit at the meeting appointment, the dog can go home the same day. We also offer transportation options when the potential adopter is far away and can’t come to meet / pick up a dog from us. Feel free to reach out if interested in adopting but would need transportation.
