Rescue FAQs

Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of North Texas (MSRNT) is a group of caring volunteers who rescue, rehabilitate and secure loving, permanent homes for Miniature Schnauzers in need within the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding areas. Since being established as a nonprofit in 2006, we have rescued more than 2,000 dogs.
Our work focuses primarily on adopters in Dallas, Collin, Tarrant and Denton counties.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Our top priority is finding the home that best fits the needs of each dog. We evaluate each dog to determine what type of home is best.
  2. Approve Application
    1. Once the application is reviewed and if the required vet reference checks are successful (it can take 7-10 days) you will receive an email.
  3. Meet the Pet

Additional adoption info

After you are approved, we ask you to be patient—waiting for the right dog who may be a match for you. If we find a potential match for you, we will reach out via email with a photo and information about that dog to gauge your interest.
