Rescue FAQs

We are a foster-based dog rescue organization dedicated to saving the lives of shelter animals in need. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for dogs in transition, where they can heal, grow, and thrive as they await their forever homes. We believe every dog deserves a chance to experience love, care, and a stable future, no matter their past. As a foster-based rescue, we rely on a network of compassionate foster families who open their homes and hearts to provide temporary shelter and individualized attention to each dog. This hands-on approach allows us to better assess the needs of each dog, from behavioral issues to medical care, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed in their new lives. Our Services Include: Foster Care Program: We work with a dedicated group of foster families who care for dogs in a home setting, helping them adjust to life outside the shelter while they await adoption. Each dog is treated as an individual, with care plans tailored to their needs. Training and Behavior Support: We provide training to help dogs overcome behavioral challenges and teach basic obedience, ensuring they are well-prepared for life with their new families. Whether it's house training, leash manners, or socialization, we work to address the unique needs of each dog. Spay/Neuter Program: To help reduce the overpopulation of unwanted animals, we offer spay and neuter services as a critical part of our rescue efforts. By preventing unwanted litters, we contribute to long-term solutions for the pet population crisis. Comprehensive Veterinary Care: Every dog in our care receives a thorough veterinary exam, vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, and any necessary medical treatments. We ensure that all our dogs are in good health and fully ready for adoption. Adoption Support: We believe in matching each dog with the right home, so we take great care in screening potential adopters to ensure the best fit for both the dog and the family. We provide ongoing support to adopters to ensure a successful transition and lifelong bond. Our commitment to each dog in our care goes beyond just providing basic needs; we strive to give them the love, attention, and guidance they deserve to become well-adjusted, happy pets. We are proud to be part of a compassionate community of rescue organizations, volunteers, and supporters who share our passion for saving lives and giving animals a second chance.

Additional adoption info

We do not have a first come/first servied policy. All of our dogs have been assessed and have certain best fit criteria that must be met. We work closely with adopters to match them to a dog that meets their lifestyle and family needs.
