We facilitate a collaborative network of equine rescues and sanctuaries in Virginia. Our ultimate goal is to make Virginia a safe haven for all equine. All horses listed under the Partnership for Horses profile are owner-surrendered animals from across the state that need to be rehomed.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
  2. Interview
    1. Interested Adopters are referred to the equine owner needing to surrender the animal.
  3. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. If applicant and owner agree that it is a good match, a transfer of ownership document will need to be signed.
  4. Take the Pet Home
    1. The best part! Thank you for helping a horse in transition!
