We facilitate a collaborative network of equine rescues and sanctuaries in Virginia. Our ultimate goal is to make Virginia a safe haven for all equine. All horses listed under the Partnership for Horses profile are owner-surrendered animals from across the state that need to be rehomed.

Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Interview
- Interested Adopters are referred to the equine owner needing to surrender the animal.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- If applicant and owner agree that it is a good match, a transfer of ownership document will need to be signed.
- Take the Pet Home
- The best part! Thank you for helping a horse in transition!
