Rescue FAQs

For Good Rescue is committed to being a lifeline for abandoned, neglected, and surrendered companion animals. Through foster based rescue, we provide the medical and emotional healing each rescued pet needs with the ultimate goal of changing their lives for good. For Good Rescue is a small all volunteer foster based rescue. Our dedicated team is proud to rescue 4 good Reason! Our Foundation: For Good Rescue was founded by compassionate directors whose 40 plus years of combined experience fueled a shared vision: a lifesaving team that works closely with fosters, provides exceptional medical care, and treats every animal as family. Our foundation is built on deep-rooted compassion, hands-on behavioral and medical knowledge, and a culture of teamwork. These values shape who we are — and what makes For Good Rescue the organization it is today.

Additional adoption info

Submit an application for the pet who interests you. If you are a suitable match to the pet you are applying for an adoption coordinator with connect with you.

After a conversation to be sure we both wish to move forward with the application, your veterinarian and personal references will be contacted.

Once all references have been contacted and responses are acceptable a volunteer will be reaching out to schedule a virtual home visit (video call).

Upon completion of the virtual home visit and application being approved we will connect adopter and foster family to make arrangements for a meeting and if all goes well the adoption can be finalized and the pet can go home with adopters.
