Rescue FAQs

Loving Hearts Animal Society is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) no-kill animal rescue organization focused on providing shelter and care for lost, abused and abandoned cats and dogs in East and Southeast Texas. We believe that by providing dedicated rescue and adoption services, raising community awareness, and partnering with local authorities that Loving Hearts Animal Society can promote a better solution to the use of euthanasia to bring the homeless animal population under control.

Additional adoption info

We will not rehome an animal that has not been sterilized and fully vaccinated prior to adoption. Kittens are not made available for adoption until at least 16 weeks of age.
