My husband Adam and I operate a 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to animal welfare, with a primary focus on funding affordable and accessible spay and neuter programs. We also work to help stray dogs find safe, stable, and permanent homes. Our organization fosters these dogs, covers their medical care, provides shelter and obedience training, and carefully matches them with appropriate adopters. While our volume is intentionally small—typically placing about 10 dogs per year—we have been committed to this work for over 15 years. This is not a profit-driven endeavor; our sole goal is to ensure each dog is placed in a loving, responsible, and lasting home.

Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best possible match for both the dog and the adopter.
A prospective adopter begins by scheduling a time to meet the dog. We take a walk together to help the dog feel comfortable and to allow for a natural, low-pressure introduction. This is followed by an informal meet-and-greet so the adopter can spend time getting to know the dog.
If there is mutual interest, the adopter completes an adoption application. We then conduct a home visit to ensure the environment is safe, suitable, and stable for the dog. If the application and home visit are approved, we finalize the adoption.
We personally bring the dog to the adopter’s home and provide starter food, toys, and the dog’s medical records. If the adopter has existing dogs, we assist with introductions and, when appropriate, conduct advance or joint walks to help ensure a smooth transition.
For every adoption, we make it absolutely clear that if the placement is not the right fit at any point, the dog must be returned to us—no questions asked. Dogs adopted through our organization are never to be taken to a shelter or rehomed independently. Our priority is always the long-term safety and well-being of the dog.
