Shelter FAQs

Feathers Galore Inc. is a 501c3 parrot rescue located in Lebanon Junction, KY (about 15 minutes south of Louisville). Feathers Galore is committed to enhancing the lives and welfare of surrendered, abused, neglected, abandoned, seriously ill and aggressive parrots through rehabilitation, education and adoption. Feathers Galore is dedicated to the rescue, foster, and adoption of parrots. Our priority is identifying potential adoption homes and educating caregivers in proper parrot care. Our goal is not only to provide rescue services, but also to become a helpful (and FUN!) resource to both local and non-local bird owners.
