Rides 4 Paws Rescue, Inc. is an Indiana-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding homes for dogs in need. Since beginning our rescue work in March 2024, we have saved more than 90 dogs, including dogs facing euthanasia in overcrowded shelters across the country.
Our rescues live alongside our own pack, sharing daily routines, walks, playtime, training, and snuggles. This gives them time to decompress, build confidence, and learn skills that help prepare them for life with a family. We provide medical care, enrichment, and individualized support while getting to know each dog’s personality and needs.
We believe successful adoptions begin with thoughtful matches and honest communication. For dogs whose medical or behavioral needs make adoption unsuitable, we provide a permanent sanctuary where they can live safely and comfortably.

Our adoption process is designed to find the right match for each dog and family. Each adult in the household must complete an application and provide a copy of their driver’s license. Applicants also submit a video showing the interior and exterior areas where the dog will live.
After reviewing these materials, we schedule a phone interview to discuss the household, lifestyle, and the dog’s needs. Approved applicants then arrange a meet-and-greet, including introductions to resident dogs when appropriate.
Once a match is confirmed, adopters complete an adoption agreement and receive information about their dog’s care and transition home. Adoptions are not completed on a same-day, walk-in basis at events. We remain available after adoption to offer guidance and support.
