We were Dachshund breeders for 25 years until we started our rescue in 1991. All our dogs are personality guaranteed, we do test drives and take them back if not working out. They are all fixed, up to date on shots and worming, pretrained and we do warn folks about any personality glitches we find so they know what they are adopting from us. We have adopted or help to adopt over 1,800+ dogs since 1991. We place on average 150+ dogs each year and placed 157 dogs in 2016 alone, a new record for us. But we turn away around 500+ each year so we do what we can to help the pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering all our adoptable pets before placement. Our dog rescue is located at the director's farm northwest of Spokane. There is no bus service here. Directions are given once an appointment is made in advance and once our pre-adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match dogs to their new families.
