Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Applications are required as a first step.You may complete one on our website, or we can email or snail mail one to you.
- Interview
- Once your app has been reviewed by our rescue coordinator, we will call you if we feel you are a good match for one of our dogs.
- Home Check
- One of our volunteers will come to your home to see where the dog will live and meet you.
- Meet the Pet
- Once the prior steps have been taken, you will be able to meet the dog and his foster home.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- If you love the dog and the dog loves you, and all is in order, the adoption contract is signed and the adoption fee is paid.
- Pay Fee
- Take the Pet Home
- In many cases, we may bring the dog to you if the dog is very skittish and/or a flight risk.
